AZ Rocks 2010, March 19-21. This years event will be held at Table Mesa, North of Phoenix on I-17. Please see the AZ Rocks folder for more information. Come and enjoy a couple of days of awsome wheeling, scenery, and great folks. This years event will include wheeling on trails for all skill and rig levels. There will also be a club BBQ on Friday the 19th for those interested in great BBQ by our very own VP, Mike Nevitt (azrain).

Date: 2/7/2009 Title: Four Peaks Pickup '09
Details:
Four Peaks Pickup Saturday Feb. 7, 2009 9am-3pm Your help is needed to clean up general trash in the Four Peaks area. Bring water, sunblock, gloves, and a hat. A shovel or a rake could be helpful, as well as heavy duty trash bags.

Details:
IT'S TIME TO LEND A HAND TO AMERICA'S LANDS! Saturday April 19th, 2008 from 8am to 12:30pm. We need your help for a group clean up of some public lands. Participation by AzTTORA is our way to show we practice responsible recreation and are interested in preserving our public lands for future access. Lunch will be provided by the event sponsor, the Good Gun Foundation. You are asked to bring shovels, rakes, gloves, and other protective stuff like sunscreen, sunglasses, etc.
 
From Phoenix, go North on I-17 towards Flagstaff, Exit at West Table Mesa Road (exit # 236), and follow the signs to the cleanup.

AZRocks is an annual event put on by the Arizona chapter of the Toyota Territory Off-roaders Association. There is no charge to attend this event in Florence Junction, Arizona, but you will need to have your Arizona State Trust Land usage permit. We only ask that you be a member of any chapter of TTORA and have a fun, 'tread lightly' attitude! This is a multi-state event that regularly has 60-80 vehicles. We will run trails on April 4 & 5, with Apr 3 & 6 as travel days. AzTTORA provides Port-A-Johns, an RTI ramp, and firewood for nightly bonfires. WE NEED YOUR HELP CLEANING UP A FEW AREAS ON THE FOUR PEAKS ROAD! Saturday February 9th, 2008 from 9am to 3pm. We need your help for a group clean up of some public lands. Participation by AzTTORA is our way to show we practice responsible recreation and are interested in preserving our public lands for future access. Burgers and buns are being provided by Copper State Cruisers. Water and soda will be provided by the event organizer, Tim Huber. AzTTORA members can help by bringing coolers filled with ice. Bottled water and soda would also be a big help. You are asked to bring shovels, rakes, gloves, and other protective stuff like sunscreen, sunglasses, etc.
 
Where: Beeline Highway and Four Peaks Rd. (AKA NF-143) Just North East of Phoenix, AZ Directions from Phoenix: Take the 101 to Shea and turn East. Take this to the Beeline(AKA Highway-87). Turn North on the Beeline (87). Take this 15 miles. The turn is just before mile marker 204. Turn Right on Four Peaks Rd (NF-143) (east). Take the dirt road less than a mile to the restrooms and parking area.

Trail Name: Araz Wash to Guadalupe Mine; Meeting Time: 11/10/2007 at 10am; Meeting Place: West Wetlands Park (N 32.729663 W -114.634718); Type of Run: Loop; Trail Rating: Difficult; Scenic Rating: 10; GPS (Trailhead): 32.8206°N, 114.7415°W; Approximate Length: 10 miles; Approximate Duration: 5 hours; Trail Description: Get ready to rock & roll! Big rigs won't do this one without major breakage and body damage. This is a true 4-Wheeler's trail. It's not extreme, but it's rougher than a lot of the trails we usually do. It's equal to Woodcutters Pass in difficulty.

This is an AzTTORA run but is open to all types of vehicles as long as they meet the following:
 
You must be an experienced 4 wheeler; a lift, sliders, and rear locker are highly recommended. This is not a hardcore trail, but is challenging with a rock garden, tippy sections, and steep climbs and decents.
 
CB channel - 13
 
Bring something to eat and drink, this is a very remote area. We'll need to make good time to miss afternoon thunderstorms, so plan to keep moving.
 
After the trail run, there is a bar in Cleator if anyone cares for an adult beverage before heading on home, or there is Rock Springs Cafe in Black Canyon City.
 
I'd like to keep this run to about 10 trucks.
